General Conditions: I found the snow quality to be still quite good in sheltered terrain on Sunday. It consists of dense loose powder on the surface. Despite how shallow the snow is, the snowpack remains mostly supportable, making for fairly easy travel on skis or snowmobiles. Temperatures are warm. Overnight lows were only in the upper 20s to around freezing. Wind is almost non-existent.
Mountain Weather: Sun and warm temperatures are all I see ahead for us. We'll see high temperatures into the mid 30s today. Light wind will be from the northwest increasing in speed later on. The rest of the week looks similar with some periods of stronger north wind. Literally, no storms are in sight.
