Since the sun hadn't been out, most slopes were cold, dry snow. I did change aspects enough to pick up a zipper crust on solars. Still skied well.

Problem #1 Comments
I would imagine (in the right light) that most of the terrain is good to go. I would still be cautious of small wind slabs in the consequential terrian. Otherwise, it's deep, white, and stable.
Comments
I was on the hunt for surface hoar today. As I drove over North Ogden Divide, the clouds were thick and humid, and it seemed like a perfect surface hoar factory. However, on Cutler Ridge, I couldn't find any surface hoar on the snow surface or any weak layer buried by the past few days of very low-density snowfall. I skied down with my shovel and dug on many aspects and elevations. At this point, I found no layers of concern on the snow surface or in the snowpack.
This makes me slightly concerned since Greg Gagne reported finding surface hoar to the ridgelines this past Saturday. I was on the hunt and couldn't seem to find any. Doesn't mean it's not there. I just didn't find it.
