Weather and Snow
A few inches of dense snow fell on mostly bare ground at upper elevations in the Bear River Range over the weekend. The fresh dusting of snow sure is pretty, but there is not really enough of it to ski or ride on yet even at upper elevations. On some high due north facing slopes the new snow accumulated on a thin layer of icy old snow. The Tony Grove Road is not matained for winter travel and it is quite icy in shady areas and on the upper section. Driving up the road yesterday was scary!
