Comments
I rode down Two Trees the afternoon of Mon 1/5. I boarded down to the point where the drainage from E/SE face of Little Superior joins with the Two Trees ‘gully’. There was a good amount of avalanche debris there that appeared to be triggered naturally. There was no skin track going further along the Little Superior Ridgeline, and I quickly did a beacon check but picked up nothing.
The avalanche was fresh when I found it, as there was no new snow on top. Appeared to be ~5-6” deep.
After reviewing footage, I also noticed a storm slab when I came to a stop (roughly 10’ wide, 4” deep, only ran appx 5’ before stopping, S facing).
