Comments
Avalanche observed 20251225, likely occurred last weekend, around the 20th or 21st. Some snowmobile tracks were below, so it's possible this avalanche was triggered remotely and not reported - the debris does look to be as old as the tracks. Bridging the gap between a cornice fall and a persistent slab, this chunk of wind drifted snow did gouge out down to faceted snow below.
