Comments

Our party triggered a small avalanche remotely (from safe terrain) on the NE shoulder of Shingle Mill Peak at roughly ~9800 ft. There is a band of steeper rockier terrain (~37*) where the avalanche started.

Otherwise we observed quite lot of collapsing throughout the day, but especially on this NE facing ridgeline. The new storm snow was roughly 20cm deep near the top of Shingle Mill Peak. Very dense, heavy snow. Some light wind, but we didn't really observe too much wind transport.
