Saw this first thing this morning from afar. Looked to have broke to near ground.. must have happened during the storm as it was somewhat blown in and refilled by this morning. Yesterday I noticed someone had set a skin track directly into the impact zone of this slope for some reason. This was just one of two really badly placed skin tracks I saw yesterday. I honestly wasn’t very surprised to see this slope had slid and took out that skin track this morning. I took a closer look from an adjacent slope but it was too touchy today to want to get a real close look at this.

Comments

Photos show the release point from a far away and the little bit of debris that made it through the thick woods.

Comments

Numerous avalanches released mid storm along the cliffs west of TG lake. Debris were mostly covered and filled in by wind and snow.
