Soft slab remotely triggered from the ridge by another group prior to us arriving. Tough to estimate dimensions from our angle but appeared to be 2-2.5 ft deep x 30 ft wide and ran below the rocky cliffs and out of sight. No tracks observed near the avalanche and we did talk to the group who observed the avalanche.
We dug a pit at 10000 ft earlier with CTV and ECTP11 down 77cm failing on facets below a MF crust. This avalanche appeared to fail on a similar layer/depth.
