This was the second avalanche we noticed while out touring in Sunset Peak area. Base up there is around 40 cm on prob so about 15 inches. Dug a pit and collapse within first 5 taps not very strong base with multiple concerning layers. Very dry weak snow with a with two more compacted icier layers in between the loose dry layers.
