Photo 1: Solitude side country (Jim Klem) ENE facing slope at 9800. Interesting because I think the tracks running parallel and perhaps buried were from yesterday but I believe a snowboarder skied down the ridge today and triggered these slides and they were soft slab, but maybe not failing at the bed surface.
Photo 2: Brighton inbounds Millicent steep N facing slope. Interesting because it looked like hard wind slab (despite all the skier impact) vs the soft slab and point sluffs that were evident on most slopes.
Photo 3: across the street SW facing Brighton hill. Point sluff off a skier in the new snow.
From the corner on Guardsmen I put the binoculars on the big S and E facing slopes down canyon: Raymond, Gobblers, etc and did not see slab avalanches and saw less point sluff activity than I was expecting: saw no tracks on those slopes as of 1300.
