Comments
noticed 3 small pockets of storm slabs breaking on old snow interface m/f crust. The crowns averaged 25-35' wide and ran 100-200 ft on an East facing 33 degree slope. These appear to be recent and likely ran overnight naturally.
Run angle out gradually tapered off as vegetation got denser, so there was not much of a debris pile.
snow depth was highly variable in this zone 2-5' but ground level facets still remain in place.
Storm snow ranged from 7-14" in this small area, likely bumped higher by wind transported snow
No bigger slides noted as of 11am, a bit more SWE would have been a different story but not today.
