Comments
Saw this new avalanche in the Wilson Chutes this afternoon, I was in the same area on New Year's eve and it wasn't there. Looked to have run last night or early this morning and appeared to be cornice triggered. There were actually two separate avalanches as you can see in the photos. The one lower down on the ridge pulled out fairly wide down lower on the slope and had the largest crown. Appeared to run on facets near the ground. Photos are from today and one from 2 days ago.
