Comments
Myself and a friend were ripping around in a flat field, about 200 yards from the toe of this avalanche, when 3 other riders from a different group came in and started climbing to the bottom of a steeper slope. We purposely stayed far away as there is other recent activity in the area, but the other group had a different thought process.
After a few hill climbs, one rider got stuck on slope. I didn't see the slide, but from what I can tell rider 2 went up to help out the first guy and triggered the slide. The slide went right around the stuck rider, missing him by about 5 feet. Very close call for these guys!
