Comments
I discovered this natural slide while skinning up Hoyt. Visibility was low I didn’t care to ski down the path to inspect. The slide appeared limited to the cornice and all the snow to the ground just below in the wind zone. I analyzed a photo of the runout zone, and the debris did not appear to make it to the bottom. My experience has been that the debris would be hung up in trees just out of view or just a little lower in the lower angle bowl.
