Comments
This information is incomplete and estimated. The visibility was poor.
Failed on 2mm fist hard facets sitting on a bed surface of pencil hard previously wind packed snow. The slab was briefly 1 finger and largely fist + new snow. The slab was of variable depth 1-2.5' and broke near the ridge where significant wind loading was occurring. I imagine the avalanche came down sometime in the morning or last night. The crown was refilling. I could not see the toe and estimated the length based on the path. The width is also an estimate based on my limited perspective and vis. I was able to grab a few photos in a lull of the storm.
Comments
I Did not trigger any avalanches today but felt and heard many collapses, saw endless shooting cracks.
