Comments
Multiple avalanches reported running on facets on north facing slopes above 10,000' in elevation. These avalanches were 1'-2' deep and running up to 200' vertical. Caught, carried in separate incidents on Sunset Peak (1) and Patsy Marley(1). Some of these were open slopes while other's failed on shady sheltered slopes in the trees. Common theme is that they failed on faceted crystals on northerly facing slopes. Reports of collapsing.
