Sizeable cornice fall, low on the N ridge of the Pfiefferhorn near small pass. Triggered a small slab mid tumble. Crown can be seen in photo.

Superficial refreeze up high in the open. Wet grains abound. Very warm today intense sun. Wet snow on nearly every aspect and elevation traveled. Some dry patches hidden in steep sheltered north.
