Comments
A couple of recent wet loose avalanches were apparent up in Bird Canyon, as seen from Maple Bench.
A recent wet loose avalanche on the right (north) and a cornice fall on the left (south), looking up Gibson Canyon from Maple Bench. The cornice fall is not very impressive from a distance, but large chunks ran at least 1000 vrt'. I think this occurred yesterday afternoon since I didn't see it yesterday morning.
