Comments
Remotely triggered slide (from a distance), most likely failing on faceted snow near and ice crust that was buried by Tuesday's new snow.
Not a major problem in this terrain, BUT this slide is a heads up with a big storm coming this weekend. If the weak layer under the new snow is causing remotely triggered avalanches with only 6-8 inches of new snow on top of it, then it certainly will make avalanches with an additional two feet of snow.
