Comments
Natural avalanche occurred sometime during the high wind event earlier this week. Crown was ~200' wide and ran for ~1000' down the main path burying several sets of recent weekend ski tracks. Large chunks of debris (1-3') were blown in by drifted snow, but some made it into the upper mature timber adjacent to the slide path - a good reminder of overhead hazard even in sheltered terrain.
