Snow Profile Comments
All the upper layers of the snowpack were pretty well bond together, unfortunately we found the lower pwl to be reactive on this slightly more eastern facing aspect where the snowpack was not as deep
Comments
We dug a pit about 300' below the zone on the same aspect and found the snowpack to be well bond together in all the upper layers. After deciding to carry along to our zone we had the first person in our group of 4 drop into his line and trigger a slab avalanche down to the base layer and get carried over a small cliff in the outrun. We got really lucky today and no one was majorly harmed or even buried, but definitely a learning experience for all of us. I can't upload any pictures so I'll try to submit a separate observation with those
