Comments
I skinned to the top of Bonkers to scope out the NW couloir of Twin to find that the entire north face of Twin had avalanched. Impossible to tell how deep the crown was or what the weak layer that produced the avalanche was from 1km away, but based on the width I would assume this is a persistent slab from the December PWL. Likely slid on Friday or Saturday mid-storm, as the debris in the apron had a fresh coat of snow covering it but the crown was fresh enough to be visible from 1km away.
