Comments
Saw this crown with a track across and out. Good bit of their track was gone. Im guessing they triggered it and were off by the time it came down. It didn't look like they stopped or anything to signify they knew they triggered it. The slide broke on the rollover into the gully(35-40 degree) but the slope was less steep(~30). The slide ran ~25 feet and stopped as it reach the gully floor. Probably not deep enough to bury someone. But if it knocked them off their feet?
Failed on new snow/old snow interface. Which was a thin MF crust on sugar. The snow from Sunday and Monday night were two distinct layers, but both slid.
