Comments
A likely natural avalanche on a north aspect on the Spire. The crown was ~45 cms deep and most likely ran on facets. This avalanche likely occurred the morning of Monday, Jan 8 as the debris was fresh.
The soft slab likely formed due to wind-loading, possibly was cross-loaded from northwest winds.
