Once we got to the base of the line we saw a slide ending just above the appron, once we got up to it was much bigger than we thought and looked like it slide at least a few hundred feet (from lower rock band to top of appron was our guess as there was no deffinative crown). Pic 1
Other notes - we only went up to ~10,700 ft before decsending (right before last bowl) as we had been watching wind whip snow around the entire ascent. Wind was specifically whipping snow around top of the line - Pic 2. We traveled causiously and dug one quick pit near the top. There was ~10 inches of pretty bullet proof wind drifted snow (no cracking or whumping entire way up) then a layer of powder sugar. We had confidence in top layer and no one broke through (sinking down maximum of two inches), but will be interesting to see what this storm does to the snow pack up there.
