Comments
Natural release below the ridge line 6"-1' deep and about 3/4 of a mile wide stepped down 2-4' deep on steep rock rolls halfway down the slope. Dug a pit at about 10,400' on the rib below No Name, lookers left of Lake Shot. Failed 4" down while cutting the first column. Carefully cut a subsequent 3 columns and each failed 4" down on the first tap. All three also failed sharply 3' down at 21 taps on a 2" layer of graupel. Test site on the rib was likely shallower than across the slope where the slide happened.
Also included two photos of a similar slide on Hogum Ridgeline also about 3/4 mile wide. Depth uncertain maybe 1' or so. Didn't step down.
