This avalanche varied in depth from 6"-12". We were surprised by how wide this avalanche propagated, but it only ran less than 100'. SS-ASc-R1-D1-I. A quick ECT on a similar aspect and wind affected slope produced ECTP1 down 20cm on a non-persistent failure plane. This wind drifted snow problem was reactive but only in isolated areas directly lee of exposed ridgelines.
