We spotted this slide while skinning out from city creek back onto the black mountain shoulder. A sobering reminder that even though we were in low elevation terrain adjacent to the University and the Avenues, conditions were very touchy with real consequences. extreme winds in addition to ample new snow quickly formed wind slabs lining the low elevation ridge lines N->W, we also observed shooting cracks underfoot as we skinned out and past this area.
