Comments
Avalanche on Patsy Marley, observed the debris field about 2:30 pm. Appeared to be from today as the debris covered some very fresh ski tracks (tracks exited the debris field). Debris didn't pile up as there's quite the runout here, but it ran full slope to the flat. There was one very large block of snow (not quite Mini Cooper sized) at the bottom of the debris that I expect is what remained of the cornice that triggered the slide (didn't see any ski tracks entering the slide path).
Massive cornices on the ridge line overhanging Patsy Marley.
