We ran out of time to check out this slide but saw it from a distance. I don't think it was wind loaded because, winds were only transporting snow just at ridgetops and not reaching down onto slopes like this one. Notice the wind loading in the foreground.
No idea how it was triggered, but I'm positive that it fractured on the November facets.
