Saw the crown of this avalanche in Bartholomew Canyon South Fork at around 3 pm today. It must have been decent and natural: no other tracks up the canyon since the last snowfall, and the avalanche appears to have shaken the snow off the two small trees at its crown! Didn't get close to investigate, but the crown looked tall to my eyes.
