Comments
We remotely triggered 2 small but fairly deep slides from adjacent and higher terrain. One was from ~50' and the other maybe 200' away from our track. We stopped by to look at the lower of the two on our next lap. Aside from the new snow on top, the slab was quite dense. It had failed on a bed of facets above the ground. Also, the debris was much more substantial than it looked from our skin track. Definitely had the potential to bury a person especially with the narrow gully below.
