Comments
A group of 8 skiers were skiing the Millville Face, a steep N facing slope. They knew the danger and were using safe travel protocols. A skier triggered one small avalanche and then another skier triggered another small avalanche. At some point during their lapping, one party member waiting at the bottom relayed to the descending skier to ski fast through the lower part as there was a steep rollover. The skier descended and moved quickly through the suspect slope and arrived at the pickup point. Unbeknownst to him, he had triggered a fairly sizeable avalanche. The party decided it was time to go elsewhere for the day.

I got up to the site of the avalanches in the afternoon to investigate and took a few pictures....
