Snow Profile Comments
Did an ECT next to the crown, ECTP18, failing in the facets from the dry spell. Interestingly though the avalanche failed on top of the breakable melt freeze crust that is on top of the facets from the long dry spell.
Comments
I'm guessing this was remotely triggered on 3/10 by the snowcat when they groomed the road, but don't have confirmation on that. The crown looked like it was a day or two old. Slope is around 42 degrees ENE facing.
