Comments
This is really two different slides in Gravel Pit Lanes. Both appear to be dry loose avalanches involving the new storm snow from Friday 3-4 to Sunday 3-6. The first slide started in the chutes of Upper Gravel Pit and appears to have run about 550 ft. The slope angle is around 35 degrees. The second avalanche is right in the steep crux of Lower Gravel pit. This one ran about 400 ft and the starting zone is close to 40 degrees.
