Comments
The slab looked to have been triggered by snowmobile climbing a wind loaded convex area a few hundred feet beneath the ridgeline.
I didn't take a very close look at the failed layer as there was hangfire and other unstable looking sections surrounding the area.
It looked to be around 8-10" at the deepest spots and ran 60-80 feet or so. Debris pile 4-5' at the deepest collection.
Comments
We observed numerous small slab avalanches in the area. Most of which we had ski-cut (powsurf-cut) or intentionally triggered with cornice. These were in low consequence areas and didn't run far but were 6-7" deep.
