Comments
Our party remotely triggered the large slide from the flats on an adjacent bench almost 1/4 mile away. The slope was obviously a hazard with the weak snow and recent load but the distance of the remote trigger was still surprising. The toe of the debris almost reached the summer road. Several natural slides on the north half of the compass on the flank of black mountain are also included.
