Comments
This was most likely triggered by a snowmobiler that I witnessed riding near the base of it. It's also possible that it released naturally during the storm however, my money is on sled triggered. This is a little slope on the far east end of Wedding Ring Ridge that we refer to as Hot Stuff Pockets. It is easily visible from the road and is a great indicator of avalanche activity as it slides regularly. This released naturally in December and at least one other time this season.
