Comments
Hard slab of wind drifted snow that was triggered naturally. Timing is sometime this weekend.
Comments
Sheltered north facing slopes still have soft snow that rides well. It's not deep but there's plenty of traction. Any snow above treeline has been raked by winds from the north.
Comments
We felt comfortable entering avalanche terrain especially in bowls with a deep snowpack.
