Comments
We noticed this classic Two Dogs avalanche at about 1200 when we topped out the flagstaff skin track. The bed surface and debris were well covered in new snow but there was still between 2' and 4' visible. It seems like this slide occurred during or just after the incredible run of ~.4"\H20 hours yesterday evening. It appears this piece is in between the skier-triggered upper days fork slides reported on 12/15 and 12/18(?) so I'm assuming it failed in old snow like those avalanches. Note that the common uptrack location brought the big trees is involved in this slide.
