Comments
Several natural avalanches occurred in the steep, burned area of upper Brumley Creek during the height of the storm on Dec 9. Up to 20" of snow at 2.5" SWE fell on top of pre-existing faceted, mid October. They all averaged between 150'-200' wide. It's unknown if all of these slides ocurred at once but it seems possible/likely there were sympathetics involved with whatever was the intitial release.
