Saw a very small slide at the bottom of hallway where the throat opens. Pic got "resized". Fracture by sugarcube looking rock on sliers r. Very thin debris into top of hallway didn't go far. Not sure if I was looking at crown as what would be the center of crown missing in chute. Possible slide started higher.

Bad visibility in cartiff, clouds 1000' below ridges.

Am rates 1-2 inches/hour. Snow tapered noon.

Snow was heavy, creamy and 5-8". Seemed well bonded to old snow. almost a complete refresh! Easy trail breaking. No wind drifting issues in lower drainage and not much wind 9am-3pm. Boot penetration still to crotch.
