Comments
Avalanche class was down on the subridge between West and South Monitor and looked up in time to see the sunny side of South Monitor natural a little before 1PM. Avalanche was likely induced by warming, as it was very warm on SE facing slopes, with the surface snow starting to get pretty damp. Based on the depth of the slab and what was below the bed surface, this looks to be a repeater - likely having avalanched maybe around Jan 5th. Failed on facets above the Nov 19 heat crust.
