Comments
Ascended to the bottom of Miller Time where we found this slide, apparently triggered by a party of four heli skiers as they traversed the low angle ridge above the bowl. The trigger point appears to be the shallowest part of the convexity on the lookers right of the crown where we observed tracks within about 20' of where the slide broke. We had not planned on skiing the bowl ourselves but found it notable to see such a well connected slide on a south aspect. It appeared to have failed at our friendly neighborhood PWL, with a little help from some wind loading evident in the stepped crown on the left. The area that slid is low 30s in steepness and as a result the slide didn't travel particularly far or collect deeply; simply more signs of the very touchy situation out there right now.
Perhaps the party involved can provide more details.
