Comments
I'm guessing this avalanche was triggered by the same group of snowmobilers that triggered another slide nearby. Same aspect and only slightly lower elevation. This slide propogated quite a ways along the ridge into the trees with a few shallow terrain traps. There was also a log that appeared like it went along for the ride. Not as large of debris as the neigbhoring slide, but the propogation and landscape hazards are concerning. This slope is also average of 30°, which is also another red flag. Starts closer to 38°. If I had to guess, I would think this was triggered from lower on the slope, but hard to tell from the tracks.
