All above dimensions are estimates, did not access the crown due to overhead hazard. Crown was broken, larger crown located around 9600', the lower lookers left part of the crown was about 150' lower. The time of occurrence is unknown, natural sometime overnight or in the early morning on January 28th. No report of this avalanche on the 27th. Strong southwest winds likely provoked a large natural that failed in the faceted weak snow down near the ground, you can see old snow and shrubs. This is a repeater slope.

Many obvious signs of instability today, elevated winds and transport occurring throughout the day as well as widespread cracking.
