Comments
2 skiers. Skier 1 skied 300 ft and into trees on right. Skier 2 triggered entire middle tri-chute and was carried through choke to flats below and was on surface. Slide ran full length to meadow. Bed surface was old snow facets. Skier 1 skied chute with beacon on but was able to spot skier 2 on top of snow moving. Skier 2 lost both skis, had bruised elbow and knee. Both skiers then traversed the remaining slide path with beacons on but no signals received. Skied out on one ski each.
Large slide, severe consequences. Significant luck. Bad choice. Please learn from our mistake. Be responsible.
