Comments
Came uppon an avalanche near the bottom of Red Pine Trees on a slope that is more open and convex. It was about 100ft wide and ran about 150 feet. It was about 16 inches deep and ran on surface facets at the new/old snow interface. Not sure whether it was human triggered or natural. There was one set of tracks in the trees adjacent to the slope so it may have been remotely triggered. Did a beacon search on the debris pile and didn't pick up a signal. Maybe someone else has more info.
