This was about 1700, so thinking snow slabbing was accelerating due to cool down of temperatures. The top down to the snow covering the cliff band was slabbing but seemed stable. The cliff band broke and ran, I stayed out of that one got pushed into a tree where I managed to edge into it and holds against the slide. The second one took me by surprise and carried me about 60 feet, mainly because I was not expecting it to let go on this lesser slope. It just broke and took off fast for about what was a good carry. I would never have expected it to go at that slope angle and though a slabbing crust it was skiable. I didn’t have my phone to get any pics. Just be careful, don’t get a surprise - might want to ski cut before jumping in on a line.
