Comments
The avalanche slid on the melt/freeze crust. The slide broke above the splitboarder and the partner standing on top radioed to the rider that it was sliding. They were able to keep in front of the slide. It was 1 1/2' high and 15-20' wide. Moving at a moderate pace and slid to the base of the slope.
